Rugby League: Senior
With a strong commitment to the sport, The Waves Senior Rugby League Club has a strong vision for the future of its players and the Club. The Club shares a strong bond with The Waves Junior Rugby League Club with a focus on the development of all players from the juniors right through to the senior ranks. The Waves also fields a team in the local Women’s Rugby League competition.

Swimming
The Waves Swimming Club operates from Norville Park Swimming Pool, which boasts the only local heated 50 metre pool. Our swimmers are placed in squad groups depending on their ability level and train across 9 sessions per week under head coach Norm Jarvis. Sessions focus on fitness, stroke correction, technique and some fun along the way. Swimmers are encouraged to participate in swimming meets across the Wide Bay region. The Waves Swimming Club provides a friendly, supportive environment for swimmers to participate in squad training and club nights.

Rugby League: Junior
The Waves Junior Rugby League Club fields teams from U7's through to U 16's. Training is on Tuesday and Thursday nights. The dedicated Committee Members of the Junior Club and the strong Club bond with The Waves Senior Rugby League ensure every possible success for the teams and development of the junior players.

Italian Choir
The Waves Italian Choir (Voce d'Italia), was establised in May 1995 and has released a CD titled Italian Folk and Traditional Songs. With regular practice times and scheduled public concerts, Voce d'Italia has reached an excellent standard singing folk songs both in Italian and English. If you love and enjoy friendship then why not come along on a Monday evening at 7pm to the Thabeban St Complex as new members are always welcome!

Softball
With a mixture of young and old, the Softball Club field both junior and senior teams (T-ball and softball), with new members always welcome. Played in summer the Club's sign-on is generally held at the end of August. The Club can supply you with equipment or you can provide your own. Promoting good fun and sportsmanship, we have many long serving members!
